Some time ago I purchased a CCD camera. This was a ST-2000XM from Sbig, with a filter wheel and AO-7 unit (today replaced by an AO-8). This CCD Camera have an autoguider inside. That means in simple words that a computer deals with the process of catch the guidestar, instead the eye of the astrophotographer. With my new little refractor, a TeleVue 85, I had a new world to discover and many tasks to do…At the begining, I adapted this complex to my older C-700 mount, but, at 2011, I get another class of mount gently near-gifted from my friend Daniel Verschatse, a Parallax Mount, with great capacity and performance but today it’s waiting for a motor replacement (it’s have a failure in the declination motor).
